Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for TendersAI subscriptions, operated by Aveza Venture Agency (Pty) Ltd. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions and should be read together with our Cancellation Policy.

1. Subscription nature

TendersAI is a monthly subscription service. When you subscribe, you pay in advance for a billing month and receive immediate access to the platform and your monthly Deep Analysis credits. Because access and credits are made available immediately, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except as set out below or as required by law.

2. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits the rights you have under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA). Where the law gives you a right to a refund that cannot lawfully be excluded, that right applies regardless of anything in this policy.

3. When we will consider a refund

We assess refund requests on a case-by-case basis and may, at our discretion, grant a full or partial refund where, for example:

• You were charged in error, charged twice, or charged after a valid cancellation;
• A technical fault on our side prevented you from accessing the Service for a material part of your billing period and we could not resolve it;
• You were billed for a renewal you did not authorise.

We are generally unable to refund where you simply did not use the Service, used your Deep Analysis credits, or were dissatisfied with an analysis outcome (since the Service is a decision-support tool and does not guarantee tender awards).

4. Deep Analysis credits

Deep Analysis credits are consumed when you run a deep analysis. Consumed credits are not refundable. Unused credits do not have independent cash value and, unless stated otherwise for your plan, do not carry over after cancellation.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@tendersai.co.za within 30 days of the charge, with your account email, the date and amount of the charge, and a short description of the reason. We aim to respond within 7 business days.

6. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are made through Payfast to your original payment method. Processing times depend on Payfast and your bank, and are typically completed within a few business days of approval.
